Let me tell you a bit about my journey.
As a 50+ woman, I have gone through several types of changes throughout the years: the early loss of a parent, immigration, motherhood, divorce, remarriage, and career shift - all significant patches of my life story quilt.
I found coaching when I decided it was time to help others in a different way, by utilizing my personal experiences and resilience – which allows me to relate and empathize with others very strongly. I am so glad I found my new calling and I could not love my work as a Coach more.
I have been training with Coach Training Alliance, in a well-structured program approved by the International Coach Federation, of which I am a member.
I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communications with a major in Advertising, and I worked for a long time in Brazil, my country of birth, as a language instructor and translator of training materials for individuals, small companies, and corporations. Being a bicultural and bilingual person gives me a broad perspective of the world, and I am so grateful for that.
A few years ago, I earned 2 certifications: Professional Photography from NYIP, and Meditation from UCF. I then created my Mindful Photography course, alongside with my Portuguese course. I also self-published a little poetry book to honor my gone-too-soon poet mom. But I inherited the shutterbug from my Navy dad, who traveled the world with his Hasselblad. I enjoy creating my images on weekends and while traveling.
